Two budget airlines - Scoot and TigerAir- on Monday announced promotional fares to Singapore and Australia out of Indian cities like Chennai, Amritsar, Bengaluru, Lucknow, Hyderabad and Jaipur.
The two low cost airlines are owned by Budget Aviation Holdings, a part of Singapore International Airlines group.
The fares to Singapore start from as low as Rs 5,099 onwards, and for those who would like to travel in style - ScootBiz fares (where ScootBiz is operating) start from Rs 12,199, a statement said.
For travelers looking at enjoying the Australian summer, Scoot offers fares to Gold Coast, Sydney and Melbourne, starting from as low as Rs 11,499.
Fares to Bali start at Rs 7,799. These fares are available for sale with immediate effect, for travel between January 11 and May 15, 2017.
"We are behind the demonetisation exercise now and it's time for us to ring in the New Year with celebratory offers across our destinations. We believe that there is pent up demand after the demonetisation and that will take effect in these few months," Bharath Mahadevan, Scoot Head of India was quoted as saying in the statement.IANS For Latest Updates Please-
