After the romantic number 'Dum Dum', the makers of Anushka Sharma starrer 'Phillauri' have given us the first wedding song of the year, 'WhatsUp'.

The song was released on social network by Anushka herself. "Hey WhatsUp? Here's the bride with the 1st wedding song this season #WhatsUp @TSeries @OfficialCSFilms @foxstarhindi," she posted along with the video of the song.

It is the wedding song in which where Suraj Sharma's character Kanan can be seen tying the knot with Mehreen Pirzada's Anu on one side, Anushka Sharma's character Shashi's unfulfilled dream of getting married to Diljit Dosanjh's character is shown.

'WhatsUp' number is sung by Mika Singh and Jasleen Royal, and the lyrics are penned by Aditya Sharma.

Shot extensively in Punjab, the film features Diljit Dosanjh, Suraj Sharma, Mehreen Pirzada and Anushka in key roles.
 

Co-produced by Fox Star Studios and Clean Slate Films -- Anushka's production banner with brother Karnesh Sharma -- "Phillauri" is a fun-filled romantic Hindi film set in Phillaur.

Directed by debutant Anshai Lal and written by Anvita Dutt, the film's shoot had begun on Baisakhi last year and the shooting wrapped in June, 2016.
