National Award-winning actress Vidya Balan released the first theatrical trailer of her upcoming film "Begum Jaan", which will release on April 14.
"Ab trailer...aur phir Ek mahina...sirf ek mahina...yaad rakhna 14th April... #BegumJaan @VisheshFilms," Vidya posted on her Twitter handle.
Vidya looks intimidating and powerful beyond words in the trailer of 'Begum Jaan'. She is all set to amaze the audience with her another power packed and versatile role.
Produced by Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt, the film is helmed by National Award winner Srijit Mukherji. The Bengali director is making his directorial debut in Bollywood with this film.
The Hindi adaptation of Mukherji's stellar Bengali offering "Rajkahini", 'Begum Jaan' is a story of survivors who defy nations to save their homes.
The film was earlier slated to release in January, but the makers postponed the release date.
Vidya plays the title role of the madam of a brothel in the film, which also stars Naseeruddin Shah, Rajat Kapoor, Gauahar Khan, Pallavi Sharda, Ila Arun, Ashish Vidyarthi and Chunky Pandey.Anubha Dhillan For Latest Updates Please-
