Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth made television acting debut on Discovery channel's new format series called 'Into the Wild' with Bear Grylls, which will also raise awareness about water conservation. This is Rajinikanth's first TV venture after 43 years in cinema, the channel said in a statement on Wednesday.
With this, Rajnikanth became only the second Indian, after Prime Minister Narendra Modi to feature in Bear Grylls' well-known show, Man vs Wild. The actor, along with her daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth, went to Bandipur forest on January 28 to shoot for the show."I agreed to finally make my debut on TV after more than four decades of Cinema," said Rajinikanth in a statement about shooting 'Into the Wild' with Bear Grylls.On Tuesday, Rajinikanth winded up the first day of the three-day long shoot for the programme in Karnataka's Bandipur Tiger Reserve And National Park. The shoot is set to take place on four different locations.In the video, Rajnikanth and Bear Grylls will be seen talking about the Bandipur forest's nature and wildlife.
