Her friends and representative Mike Pingel had told The Hollywood Reporter that the former Bond Girl has died. But now, during an interaction with The New York Times, Pingel revealed that she is alive and called it a 'human miscommunication'. Moreover, Mike also stated that he 'had relied on information from Lance O’Brien' who is Tanya's partner and husband.
