Rock On 2 collects 7cr in weekend

'Rock On 2', a sequel to the 2008 film 'Rock On', is a disappointment as the film starring Farhan Akhtar, Shraddha Kapoor, Arjun Rampal in the lead role just collected 7 crore in its first weekend. "#RockOn2 is DISAPPOINTING... Fri 2.02 cr, Sat 2.41 cr, Sun 2.58 cr. Total: ₹ 7.01 cr. India biz," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted. Where 'Rock On' was about the coming together of a band called Magic, 'Rock On 2' is more than the reinforcement of the band. With no memorable lines and the use of staid imagery, the dialogues written by Farhan are lame and run-of-the-mill. The characters too don't grow organically and thus there is a dissent with the viewers.
