- Ajay Devgn's Drishyam earns Rs 17 crore in 2 days
Ajay Devgn-starrer "Drishyam" has raked in a total of Rs 17.45 crore in two days and is expected to pick up on Sunday while Salman Khan's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" seems headed towards the Rs 300 crore mark at the box office. "Drishyam", which also stars Tabu and Shriya Saran, is directed by Nishikant Kamat, who helmed the 2011 John Abraham-starrer "Force". "Terrific word of mouth translates into super growth in biz on Day 2. #Drishyam Thu pre Fri 8.05 cr, Sat 9.40 cr. Total: 17.45 cr," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted. Adarsh also wrote that while "Drishyam" is registering growth, Salman Khan-Kareen Kapoor starrer "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" is an all time blockbuster. "#BajrangiBhaijaan (Week 3) Fri 4.11 cr, Sat 6.80 cr.
