Banned, but not by the censors

Jodhaa Akbar Ashutosh Gowarikar’s ‘Jodhaa Akbar’ was banned in a few states before the producers moved the Supreme Court and got partial relief. This entire scenario was precipitated after sections of the Rajput community raised their voice against the portrayal of Jodha as Akbar’s queen.
