Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia is Akshay Kumar's birth name. His close friends used to refer to him as Raju. Before entering Bollywood, Akshay did quite a few odd jobs including taking up modelling assignments. It was during this time that the Khiladi Kumar decided to change his name. His son Aarav Bhatia however retains the old name.
