Does Bollywood has bad dressing sense? Or has it improved lately? Bollywood has become very fashion-conscious since the late 1990s. It is difficult to come across actors and actresses who step out of homes in strange outfits, looking really bad, because they stay away from the support of fashion designers like Manish Malhotra and Neeta Lulla. In the movies, too, the story isn’t a lot different. Haute couture dazzles on the big screen, which is hardly surprising because the industry spends big money on style. Until the turn of the 1990s – in fact, for a few years after that as well- some of the stars were outrageously dressed for the big screen. When we see them today, they look funny.
