The evergreen romantic hero of Hindi film industry, Dev Anand, was born on September 26 in the year of 1923 and if he were alive he would turn 92 today. Dharam Devdutt Pishorimal Anand, better known as Dev Anand was known as one of the greatest and most influential actors in the history of Indian cinema. With acting in 114 Hindi films, of which 104 have him play the main solo lead hero, he did 2 English films also. He was honoured with the Padma Bhushan in 2001 and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2002 by the Government of India for his contribution to Indian cinema.
