Images: Congress politician Shashi Tharoor to act in movie?

Congress MP from Thiruvananthapuram and former Union minister Shashi Tharoor is all set to make his acting debut. And guess what, reports suggest he is going to replace the superstar of Malayalam movies Mohanlal in the film. If rumor is to be believed, he will don the grease paint for the upcoming Rajeevnath's movie based on Karoor Neelakanta Pillai's short story Pothichoru. It was earlier rumoured that Mohanlal will play the lead in the movie, which is apparently titled as Onnam Sir. However, Rajeevnath denies the rumors stating that the news is fake. Shashi Tharoor has served as the Under Secretary General at the UN. He is an acclaimed public speaker and writer too. Shashi Tharoor got elected as the Member of Parliament from Trivandrum in 2009 and served as the Minister of State in the External Affairs and Human Resource Development.
