Pakistani reporter inspires Nawazuddin's role in Bajrangi Bhaijaan

Bajrangi Bhaijaan has many scenes which have become very popular within a matter of days. One such scene is when Nawazuddin Siddiqui, playing the role of a Pakistani journalist Chand Nawab. The scene shows Nawaz standing on the steps of a railway platform from where he is trying to give a PTC regarding a news on Samjhauta Express. The scene, which is one of the most popular scenes of this hit movie, shows Nawazuddin reporting from the railway station and stopping the passers-by to allow him complete the report. There is a stark similarity between the Nawaz and Chand Nawab. Director Kabir Khan says that this resemblance was deliberate as the filmmaker knew about this viral video of Chand. He wanted to corporate it within the storyline as he knew it would be a hit. And so was it! Watch this video and you will understand what we are talking about
