Glimpses of 'KBC 8' grand opening

Unlike all these seasons, 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' went live in Surat to kick-start its launch episode. The eighth season of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati', hosted by megastar Amitabh Bachchan went on air on Sunday, August 17, 2014. Amid a packed audience at the Convention Centre in Surat, Amitabh Bachchan opened the new season of KBC along with stand-up comedian Kapil Sharma. Apart from the regular game show, there were performances by the CID team, singer Neeti Mohan and Chang, Maharana Pratap team and interaction with the audience. Produced by Big Synergy Entertainment, KBC 8 will be aired from Monday to Thursday, at 8:30 PM on Sony Entertainment Television (SET).
