Produced by Karan Johar and directed by Shashank Khaitan, 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania' is a modern take on Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol starrer hit 'Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge'. The film released on Friday 11th July 2014 and the lead actors Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan visited theatres this weekend to surprise their fans and see their reactions to the film. This is Alia and Varun's second film together after their debut outing 'Student of the Year'. 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania' also marks the debut of TV actor Siddharth Shukla of 'Balika Vadhu' fame.
