- Ekta Kapoor's Box Cricket League
TV queen Ekta Kapoor launched a sports based reality show "Box Cricket League". In the show over 150 television stars will participate and play indoor box cricket. At the launch of the show Ekta shares why she has given her nod to co-produce the BCL. Earlier, this show was titled "Bahu Beta Aur Cricket" but later the makers renamed it with BCL. In the show eight celebrity teams Mumbai, Delhi, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Pune, Kolkata, Bangalore and Jaipur will play the matches. Popular TV celebs like Ankita Lokhande, Karan Patel, Divyanka Tripathi, Krystle D'Souza, Rithvik Dhanjani and many more will play the matches for their teams. It will air on Sony Entertainment Television soon. BCL is being compared to Celebrity Cricket League (CCL). But Balaji's group CEO Sameer Nair clarifies that while CCL is a proper game of cricket played by celebrities, BCL is an "innovation where men and women will be seen playing together."
