Leonardo DiCaprio as Elvis

Director Baz Luhrmann, who previously worked with Leonardo DiCaprio on The Great Gatsby, is rumoured to pair up with the Oscar nominee once more. Reports suggest that negotiations are on for Baz Luhrmann to direct a new Elvis Presley biopic. To add fuel to the fire, if Luhrmann signs on, he wants Leonardo DiCaprio to play Elvis Presley. In fact, the negotiations are ongoing and Luhrmann seems close to clinching the deal. Warner Bros will be taking care of musical components in Presley's catalogue for this project and the scripting will be done by Fifty Shades Of Grey screenplay writer Kelly Marcel.
