Inayat Khan in Mission Kashmir: A poignant movie about the life of a young boy whose entire family is accidentally killed by police officers. He is adopted by the police chief who is responsible for this tragedy, and when the boys finds out the truth, he seeks revenge and becomes a terrorist. In this film, Sanjay played the role of a tough, no-nonsense cop dealing with terrorism. However, he is plagued by guilt and emotional baggage, having lost a young son in a tragic accident. Sanjay was perfect as the tough cop who has an emotional side to him.
