Describing Akshara's lehenga-choli, which weighed not more than a kilogram, the designer said, "First we developed lace, then created sequins, some of the crystals were created by Swarovski to bring out the mood of the leaves and the petals and then the 3D effect we have in her top, lace, cut work, putting in silk chiffon flowers."
