The Shaukeens The original Shaukeen was a story of three old men with wandering eyes that stop at the sight of any young girl was told very humorously by Hrishikesh Mukherjee. It has been destroyed by the new version in which the old men have been reduced to caricatures whose language of conversation plain sucks. Akshay Kumar performs brilliantly as a superstar who makes a mockery of his super stardom, which sounds really funny. But he cannot save this disaster with his brief appearance. Too bad, since it had potential.
