'Mughal-e-Azam': If no Sholay had not been made, this K Asif film would have been the number one favourite of all time. Starring Prithviraj Kapoor, Dilip Kumar and Madhubala, this epic is the story of a romance between Prince Salim (Kumar) and a court performer Anarkali (Madhubala). Salim’s father Emperor Akbar (Kapoor) doesn’t endorse their relationship, resulting in a father-son conflict. Truly, one of the treasures of our cinematic history.
