Top ten all-time favourite Hindi films

'Anand': Anand may not have been the biggest hit of Rajesh Khanna’s career. But this film about a lively young man (Anand Sehgal played by Khanna) who knows he is terminally ill and faces death with a smile brought out the best in him as an actor. Anand’s dialogues were terrific. The songs, equally remarkable. And yes, it also saw a superb understated supporting actor in the character of Babumoshai, Anand’s doctor who becomes his friend and cannot save his life. That person: a young man named Amitabh Bachchan.
