That it was an alien had leaked, but nobody was quite sure since Aamir himself denied it. PK’s growth in business won’t slip after a few days which is what happens with most blockbusters. The success and the guarantee of running in well-occupied theatres for a fairly long time show that if marketing is done well, the film needs to deliver. A weekend with packed theatres because of marketing alone followed by bad reviews by the public can boomerang.
