Who all film industry lost in 2014

The entertainment industry lost many talented artistes in 2014 with the demise of cinema personalities like Suchitra Sen, Zohra Sehgal, cinematographer V K Murthy, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, filmmaker K Balachander and Malayalam actor N L Balakrishnan. Suchitra Sen, who died on January 17, was known as the Greta Garbo of Bengali cinema for her reclusive nature. The actress, who starred in many memorable Hindi and Bengali films like 'Devdas', 'Saptapadi' and 'Aandhi' retired from the industry in 1978 following her husband's death. She lost her life to a cardiac arrest at the age of 82.
