Bollywood was always perceived as ‘modern’ by the average person. But when it came to marriage, most men within the industry turned traditional and married younger girls. Very few broke the unspoken code, the legendary couple Nargis and Sunil Dutt for instance. In recent years, many Bollywood male celebs have fallen in love with, and married, younger ladies from the industry. This is a change within, which is clearly noticeable and happens to coincide with Bollywood’s overall approach to film-making. That this is becoming increasingly common is a great thing.
