Once Zoya confessed that her life changed after the best advice she received from Mira on the sets of Kamaustra. She said how her career, which started as an actor, changed and established her as one of the top directors in the industry. Zoya revealed, “Mira told me, ‘You can be a director, a female director, and (yet) retain your femininity. You can go to the sets wearing skirts and lipstick. You don’t have to become masculine.”
