Cruise in Gulf of Mannar Marine Park

Bio-diversity tourism will get a boost in south India with the introduction of fibre glass boats. Two such boats have been pressed into service which will give a boost marine tourism in the area. The Gulf of Mannar Marine National Park has acquired two fully covered fibre glass boats that would take tourists on a cruise to 22 islands in the Biosphere Reserve. Steps would soon be taken to make all the 21 islands picnic spots.
