Shravan: Do’s and Don’ts in the Holy Month of Lord Shiva

Shivlinga One should know the proper way to worship Shivlinga first. Take bath and offer your prayer starting with achamana, pranayama, sankalpa, prana-pratishtapana, avahana, dhyana, pancha-upachara (5 upachara) puja, abhisheka, naivaidya and visarjana. Bath the Shivlinga with water and milk and after that offer your prayer with Bilva leaves and mishri.
