Six new models to walk ramp at LFW

Models wait for their turn to appear before judges during the Lakme Fashion Week auditions in Mumbai on Tuesday. Showcasing Haute Couture with a decidedly Asian twist, the Lakme Fashion Week is India's most prestigious style event and the ideal place for the fashion cognoscenti. Now entering its second decade, the event was jointly organized by the number one Indian cosmetics and beauty brand Lakme and IMG Fashion. The show sets out to redefine the future of fashion and integrate India into the global scene. Featuring top international designers as well as the best home-grown talent, this couture extravaganza, which goes on for nearly a week, is organized twice annually with events in the spring/summer and autumn/winter.
