A Ghansoli family was overjoyed when they brought their daughter home from the hospital. So far, they had seen the girl from behind a plexiglass. They had been unable to touch her for weeks. The girl, born just after 23 weeks and five days of gestation, battled death and became the first in the city, doctors say, to be born almost four months premature and survive.
