Atal Bihari Vajpayee- Achievements and Success

Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee,who turned 91-years-old on Friday, December 25, 2015 , started full scale diplomatic talks with Pakistan initiating the Delhi-Lahore bus service.The 10th Prime Minister of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee once wrote, “Sangh is my soul”, But he was not ready to be dictated to by the Sangh on every move that he made and every step that he took. Atal was born in Gwalior in 1924.He was elected to the Lok Sabha nine times and was twice to the member of the Rajya Sabha. Vajpayee was one amongst the founder members of the erstwhile Jana Sangh, which was later renamed as Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).He served as the Prime Minister of India from 1996 to 2004 in three non-consecutive terms.
