NCP corporator wears gold shirt

Birthday Bash: NCP corporator wears 4 kg gold shirt worth Rs 1.40 crore

A class 8 drop-out Parakh started garment business and flourished in it. After launching his independent garment business in 1982, he also plunged into politics and has been an elected corporator since 1991. As part of his birthday celebrations Parakh organised a health check-up programme for around 300 people with physical disabilities and a blood donation programme.
