PICS: Chilika Lake water holds back flamingos, pelicans

The Flamingos and Pelicans, who winged their way to the famous Chilika Lake in Odisha for their winter stay, are still around despite soaring temperature in the peak of summer. Almost all other birds that arrived during winter have left the 15.59 sq km Nalabana inside the lake, said Divisional Forest Officer (DFO), Chilika Wildlife Division, B P Acharya.
