Congress chief Sonia Gandhi admitted that the party failed to gauge widespread public anger against it during the Lok Sabha polls and urged newly-elected lawmakers to understand the reasons for the development and take corrective measures.Sonia Gandhi, who was re-elected Chairperson of Congress Parliamentary Party asked partymen not to bicker in public amid a fierce blamegame in the party over its worst electoral defeat which has seen Team Rahul Gandhi coming under attack from a number of leaders. "That there was widespread public anger against us which we failed to adequately gauge is now obvious. We must understand why this was so and take necessary corrective measures," Sonia told the new Lok Sabha MPs and the party's Rajya Sabha members .
