To counter China,India deploys Akash missiles in northeast

Akash missile squadrons has the capability to "neutralize" multiple targets at 25-km interception range in all-weather conditions, earmarked for the eastern theatre. Currently,Indian Army raised a new mountain "strike" corps with two "independent" infantry brigades and two "independent" armoured brigades, totalling over 80,000 soldiers, along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) with China.
