Cricketing greats, fellow countrymen and fans across the globe bid final goodbye to Australian Test cricketer Phillip Hughes in his home town on Wednesday. Hughes, who succumbed to catastrophic injuries six days after being hit by a bouncer at SCG, was given funeral service at Macksville High School. Hughes funeral service began with song ‘Forever Young’ as family, friends and a host of cricketing greats along with fans across the globe gave him tearful adieu to young cricketer. Apart from Prime Minister Tony Abotte, former Australian cricketers, Team Australia, Indian cricketer Virat Kohli, Coach Duncan Fletcher, and Team Director Ravi Sashtri were present at the funeral ceremony.
