Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Melbourne on Tuesday on the fourth and final leg of his Australian tour. Modi attended an expatriate Indian community reception at the 161-year-old historic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) hosted by his Australian counterpart Tony Abbott on Tuesday. The MCG which is considered to be one of the best cricket grounds, can accommodate over a lakh people. It is the largest cricket ground and one of the oldest in the world. The ground hosted its first international Test match in 1877.
