MotoGP's Marc Marquez claimed Breakthrough of the Year. His achievement in winning the MotoGPâ„¢ title at the age of 20 years and 266 days, with six victories along the way, also saw Marquez become the first rider to win the crown in his rookie season since Kenny Roberts in 1978. Marquez also rewrote the history books last year by becoming the youngest ever premier class Grand Prix winner in Austin in April, at just 20 years and 63 days of age.
