IPL has over the years become a great unifier. It has brought players from around the world to play under one roof and also pitting players from the same countries against each other. Thus creating a unique rivalry. Besides the rivalry it has give several big players to rub shoulders with their rivals while playing for national teams and enjoy the bonding. Brendon McCullum was India's tormentor during India's tour of New Zealand early this year, but has no issues while playing under Mahendra Singh Dhoni in the Chennai Super Kings. The infamous monkey gate of 2008 is well and truly forgotten as former Australian skipper Ricky Ponting is the advisor the Mumbai Indians team and Harbhajan Singh is part of the team as well.
