Russian superstar Maria Sharapova is struggling with her shoulder, which together with some pain brought a whole lot of inconsistency in the Russian’s game. One day Sharapova could seem in great form, the day after she would lose to some lower ranked player as she did in Indian Wells. Despite looking in much better shape in Miami, Maria seems far from Serena or Li Na’s level. Thus, for her to make a 3rd in a row appearance in the French Open final would be a very challenging goal to achieve. If the Russian doesn’t find her best tennis now, she could end up exiting the top 10 for the first time since the start of the 2011 season. Currently Maria is World No.8.
