Tennis star Sania Mirza, who turned showstopper for designer Ritu Pande at the ongoing Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2015, says she does not follow fashion trends but loves to dress-up on special occasions. The 27-year-old tennis ace, who was known for her sporty chic look, sashayed down the ramp in a white maxi dress embroidered from the bottom. She kept her look minimal in just earings with her hair falling on one shoulder. "It's fun to walk the ramp. Ritu is a dear friend and brilliant designer. I am walking the ramp after a year and it's something which I don't do often. Like any other girl, I love fashion a lot. I love to dress-up for occasions. I don't follow trends and love comfortable clothes," Sania said after the show. Apart from her tennis commitments, Sania is seen these days in Bollywood parties with her Pakistani cricketer husband Shoaib Mailk. Asked if she is looking at a career in films too, Sania said, "You never know... But I must tell you that I am too shy to face a camera. I don't think Bollywood is my cup of tea. I love to watch Bollywood films." The state ambassador of Telangana recently won the tennis mixed doubles gold in the Incheon Asian Games. The tennis player said she loves to wear long outfits when not at the field. "My profession demands me to wear short clothes but I am not comfortable with short dresses when I am off the field. I like longer stuffs and gowns," she added. Bangalore based designer Ritu's collection titled 'Lady in Lace' had lace as one of the main components. She chose the colour palette as white with minimal accessories. The outfits ranged from long dresses to kaftans and Kurtas.
