All young girls are worshiped like Maa Durga on this day. There feet are washed with water and they are served with puri, chana and halwa. Some people also make potato or pumpkin sabji in the form of parshad. Moli is tied on the hands of girls hand and tilak is done.

Langura-One boy below 7 year of age is also served along with the girls as langura.
