The strategic Jammu-Srinagar National Highway will remain closed for traffic on Monday due to fresh landslides in Ramban district of the region, authorities said.
After remaining open for one-way traffic for a few hours on Sunday, the 300-km highway was closed due to fresh landslides in Panthal section.
"No vehicular movement will be allowed on the highway today (Monday) as the process of landslide clearance is yet to be completed at Panthal," traffic police officials said.
The highway had remained closed for four days last week and it was opened for one-way traffic only on Sunday for a few hours when fresh landslides and sinking of the road in Panthal section forced yet another closure.IANS For Latest Updates Please-
