Canadian citizen John Schlazak, who was abducted in Chhattisgarh on Tuesday, returned safely to Sukma district Police headquarters in the state on Wednesday.
External Minister Sushma Swaraj tweeted about Schlazak's safe return and also appreciated the Chhattisgarh police for the good work.
"We appreciate the good work done by Chhattisgarh police," Sushma Swaraj tweeted.
According to the reports, John Schlazak, who disappeared from Singamdagu village in Sukma district, a Maoist den was kidnapped from Koraput district in Odisha.
