Narendra Modi ' title='Prime Minister Narendra Modi '>Prime Minister Narendra Modi will on Thursday visit Gujarat for two days.
During his visit, the Prime Minister will attend a number of programmes in different areas and unveil some projects.
Modi will start his visit to Gujarat from Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad. Modi would take part in the centenary celebrations of Sabarmati Ashram on Thursday morning.
From there he will leave for Rajkot where PM will attend the Samajik Adhikarita Shivir. He would also interact with Divyang sisters and brothers.
Modi will also distribute aid and devices to divyang people at the function where the divyang people will sing the national anthem to set a new world record.PM will also hold a roadshow here. He will also visit the Aaji dam in the evening.
This will be Modi's first visit to Rajkot after becoming the Prime Minister.
On Friday Modi will visit Modasa city in Aravali district where he will attend a programme to dedicate water supply schemes based on Vatrak, Mazum and Meswo Dams.
He will inaugurate two water supply projects for the region.
Modi will leave for Ahmedabad in the evening where he will address a youth programme in Maninagar area.
As the Gujarat assembly elections are schedule to take place later this year, Modi has decided to visit his home state every month.
