Chidambaram, from Sivaganga constituency in Tamil Nadu.
It also changed a candidate in Maharashtra about whom local workers had reportedly complained to state unit President Ashok Chavan and he had pleaded his helplessness, in a audio clip that went viral on Saturday and sparked of speculation of his quitting the party.

The list, which was finalised by the Central Election Committee, also has three candidates from Bihar, including former Nationalist Congress Party leader Tariq Anwar and Uday Singh alias Pappu Singh from Katihar and Purnia, respectively.
Senior leader B.K. Hariprasad has been fielded from Bangalore South constituency.
The Congress, which had announced Vinayak Bangade from Maharashtra's Chandrapur, replaced by with Suresh Dhanorkar, as per the list.
