CBSE class 10th results declared Last Updated : 15 Jul 2020 04:49:44 PM IST Students (file photo) The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today declared the results of class 10th examinations. Girls fared 3.17% better than boys.
Girls also scored more than boys in 12th class board results results.The CBSE class 10th result has been released on the official website of the board cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.nic.in.Like class 12th boards result, Thiruvananthapuram region topped the country in the class 10th board.This year, one crore 87 lakh 315 students appeared in 5,387 examination centers in 20,387 schools, in which 91.46 percent students passed and the result was 0.36 percent more than last year.
This year, 93.31 percent of the girls passed while the percentage of boys was 90.14 percent. Thus, 3.17 percent more girls passed this year.Thiruvananthapuram region led the way with 99.28 percent results. Guwahati recorded the lowest - 79.12 percent.Among all the schools in the country, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan topped the results with 99.23 percent, while Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya stood second with 98.66 percent, and government schools ranked fifth with 80.91 percent and government-aided schools ranked sixth with 77.82 percent.This year 18 lakh 4358 students scored more than 90 percent marks while there are 41,804 students scoring more than 95 percent marks. In this way, their number has decreased compared to last year.The result of East Delhi region in the capital was 85.79 percent, while Delhi Western region's result was 85.96 percent.Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank tweeted the information announcing the 10th results.Dear Students, Parents, and Teachers!@cbseindia29 has announced the results of Class X and can be accessed at https://t.co/U3MU3QfULs.
