'Bharat tere tukde honge’ is now their official slogan': BJP on Kanhaiya Kumar joining Congress Last Updated : 29 Sep 2021 01:22:43 PM IST BJP on Tuesday lambasted Congress for installing ex-JNU student and CPI leader Kanhaiya Kumar into the party, saying it has become an "obvious choice" for those involved in anti-India activities.
BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia on Tuesday said that the ‘anti-India’ Congress was an obvious choice for people like Kanhaiya Kumar whose ideology matches theirs.Commenting on the former Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) student leader Kanhaiya Kumar joining the Congress, Bhatia said, "Congress is the natural first choice of any person, be it Kanhaiya Kumar or anyone else, with an anti-India ideology. The reason is simple: today, the Congress party, its leadership and ideology are synonyms with anti-India politics.""Hence, Congress welcomes people like him who are known to support those who chant the slogan of ‘Bharat tere tukde honge’, and also extends support to those who support terrorist like Afzal Guru," he added. For Latest Updates Please-
