Raju Srivastav, a US-based NRI, was arrested in West Champaran district in connection with the theft of a motorcycle and consumption of liquor.
"Raju, along with a local resident Akhilesh Sharma, was arrested for theft of a motorcycle and consumption of liquor," Vimlendu Kumar, officer in-charge of the town police station, said.
Raju, a resident of Raghunathpur village under the district's Turkauliya police station, returned to his native place from the US last month.
"Raju and Akhilesh have confessed to their involvement in the theft of other motorcycles in the last one month," police said.
