Delhi police on Wednesday arrested national coach Naresh Dahiya in minor Kabaddi player rape case.

16-year-old junior level national Kabaddi player filed a complaint against Dahiya for allegedly raping her on July 9th in the national capital.

In her complaint, the girl said that she met the 40-year-old coach at Chhatrasal Stadium in New Delhi and the accused then took her in his car.

He then hit the girl in the neck after which she got unconscious. Dahiya then took her to a flat where she raped her and then dumped her on the road the next day.  

The accused even warned the victim of dire consequences if she informed anyone about the incident.

The girl filed a complaint at Model Town area in Delhi after which the police arrested Dahiya.
